While V. tahitensis vanilla beans are always a bit lighter, sweeter and contain light notes of fruit and flora, where they are grown has an even larger impact on their final taste. This bundle contains V. tahitensis vanilla beans from Ecuador, Indonesia, Tahiti, Marquesas and Papua New Guinea.

On average, there are 5-8 beans/oz depending on the moisture content of the specific batch of vanilla beans. Sometimes with the huge V. tahitensis Marquesas vanilla beans there can be as few as 2-4 beans. With the smaller beans there can be as many as 15.
