VanillaPura's V. planifolia Vanilla Beans from Ghana are of the highest quality and boast a flavor that is unique to north-western tropical region of Africa, coupled with a rich vanilla taste. Quite different from vanilla beans grown in the Congo region and, perhaps, a little more similar to Tanzanian vanilla but with toffee and butterscotch aroma that surprised us on our first inspection.

We named this vanilla bean after the beautiful Ghana town of Kintampo - a popular tourist destination for its peaceful waterfalls pictured below.
