Greetings from Bolivia and welcome to our first-ever vanilla bean from the beautiful country that boasts the famous Lake Titicaca and city of Copacabana that is nestled beautifully on its shores.
What surprised us the most about this vanilla bean is the strong chocolate aroma that is normally not characteristic in a V.tahitensis vanilla bean, but undertones of plum remind us of more traditional V.tahitensis. The beans are oily, plump and rich in caviar.
Here is a picture of our samples so you can see how beautiful, plump and oily these vanilla beans are with lengths between 6" and 9":
We named this vanilla bean The Copacabana after the beautiful Bolivian city along the shores of Lake Titicaca as pictured here at sunset:

VanillaPura vanilla beans are all shipped vacuum sealed for freshness and should be stored unrefrigerated in a cool, dry and dark place.
On average, there are 4-7 beans/oz depending on each harvest, which is why we sell by weight and not by bean count. Pricing reflects current market conditions and will be updated as market prices change.
