It's that time of year! What's better than homemade cranberry sauce? Home made cranberry sauce spiced with vanilla!  Perfect for your holiday dinners. Send some home with your guest with leftovers. Yum!

Ingredients:

-24oz Cranberries

-2 cups Water

-1.5 cups Sugar

-1/2 cup Vanilla Sugar

-4 Orange Slices

-1 Vanilla Bean Split

-1 Cinnamon Stick

-1 Small Ginger Root chopped (optional)

 

Instructions:

  • Add everything to a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often to desired thickness.
  • Remove cinnamon stick and divide the Vanilla beans into each container.
  • Refrigerate and serve.

**Makes 3 pints. Cut the vanilla bean into 3 pieces and add them to the pint jars with the sauce.
