VanillaPura's V. tsy taitra Costa Rican Vanilla Beans are of the highest quality and boast a flavor that is unique to the central American region coupled with a rich vanilla taste found only by this incredibly rare species of vanilla. These aren't the smokey and spicy vanilla beans from Mexico up north, nor are they the extra sweet and fruity vanilla beans from Ecuador down south. These big and beautiful V. tsy taitra vanilla beans have a taste all their own, with notes of toffee, cacao, sweet raisins and plums. It's a beautiful vanilla experience.
(Costa Rica settled between Nicaragua & Panama)
We named this vanilla bean after the beautiful Costa Rican town of La Fortuna (The Fortune) and this vanilla may just be La Fortuna of them all, given it's totally unique and sweet taste.
(La Fortuna's beautiful landscape exemplified with this waterfall just outside of town.)
On average, there are 2-6 beans/oz depending on the moisture content of the specific batch of vanilla beans. Pricing reflects current market conditions and will be updated as market prices change.
