A rare vanilla bean sourced from a small farm in the Central American country of Honduras, just south of Guatemala and north of Nicaragua.
When we first opened the sample pouch of these vanilla beans, the first thing we noticed was the chocolate aroma - it was much more pronounced than other vanilla beans with chocolate notes. We also noticed hints of plumb and a remarkable touch of nutty undertones that were new to us.

We named this vanilla bean The Esperanza anmed after one of the many beautiful cities in Hondurus. One of the nuerous beautiful Hondurus coastlines is pictured here:
