When you first open a pouch of Suva Fijian vanilla beans, your nose will be met with a familiar but uniquely sweet vanilla aroma. Your nose will tease out conspicuous undertones of chocolate and maybe a hint of dried mango. After months (or even years) of extraction, your finished extract will demonstrate an elegant vanilla aroma as the chocolate undertones melt into the vanilla and spirit, exposing a hint of dried tropical fruit.
Fijian vanilla beans are very oily and great for use in making vanilla sugar. They boast a high vanillin content that is expected in most South Pacific vanilla producing regions. They are ideal for virtually any baking application where conspicuous vanilla sweetness is desired. These are plump vanilla beans, and are usually between 5" and 8" inches long and have a dark brown color.
VanillaPura vanilla beans are all shipped vacuum sealed for freshness and should be stored unrefrigerated in a cool, dry and dark place.
