VanillaPura's planifolia Suva Fijian Vanilla Beans are of the highest quality and boast a flavor as rare and beautiful as their country of origin. This particular vanilla bean originates from the Viti Levu region of Fiji, with rich and fertile soils that can only be found in the earth with volcanic origins and a climate that can only be described as paradise.

Fiji

When you first open a pouch of Suva Fijian vanilla beans, your nose will be met with a familiar but uniquely sweet vanilla aroma. Your nose will tease out conspicuous undertones of chocolate and maybe a hint of dried mango. After months (or even years) of extraction, your finished extract will demonstrate an elegant vanilla aroma as the chocolate undertones melt into the vanilla and spirit, exposing a hint of dried tropical fruit.

Fijian vanilla beans are very oily and great for use in making vanilla sugar. They boast a high vanillin content that is expected in most South Pacific vanilla producing regions. They are ideal for virtually any baking application where conspicuous vanilla sweetness is desired. These are plump vanilla beans, and are usually between 5" and 8" inches long and have a dark brown color.

VanillaPura vanilla beans are all shipped vacuum sealed for freshness and should be stored unrefrigerated in a cool, dry and dark place.

Amazing

Don’t let its small size fool you. This little bean packs a powerful vanilla punch! When first out of the package, I didn’t notice the scent of chocolate, but as soon as I sliced the bean open, there it was. It made an excellent vanilla sugar with a strong depth of flavor. I cannot wait for the extract to complete.
