It’s the middle of winter and it’s freezing outside!  Cuddle up by the fire with a good book. Or watch the snowfall to your favorite playlist WITH this delicious Vanilla Chai Latte made with our Winter Spice Vanilla Extract.  You deserve a warm winter break!

This is an easy is an easy recipe to use your extract AND vanilla sugars. My favorite is orange vanilla sugar.

Ingredients:

-  .5 to 1 tsp Winter Spiced Extract

- .5 to 1 cup milk of your choice. (Mine is whole milk.  But if you have allergies, oat milk is a good alternative)

-  Vanilla sugar to your liking (orange vanilla sugar is my favorite. You can add sugar at the end if it’s easier to get the perfect sweetness).

- Hot water (about 1/8 cup)

Instructions:

1. In your latte/coffee cup add the Winter Spice Extract, vanilla sugar, the tea bag, and enough hot water, to cover the tea bag (about 1/8 cup)

2. Steam your milk nice and frothy to get that light creamy texture.

3. Add the milk to your latte/coffee cup and top with cinnamon.

 4. Leave the tea bag to your liking for  2-3 mins. But if you like a stronger tea flavor leave it in longer.

5.  Add a cinnamon stick for garnish or to help stir in more vanilla sugar!

** There will be sediments at the bottom of your tea if you do not strain the Winter Spice Vanilla Extract. I don’t mind this, but if you do, strain your extract before adding it to your latte.**

Happy Wintering!
