Located North of Indonesia on the South China Sea, in one of the most remote parts of our world's bean belt that is 25 degrees north and south of the equator. We named this bean The Sibu (pronounced see-boo) after the beautiful Malaysian city. This vanilla bean has a rich vanilla flavor and aroma, with undertones of raisins and a hint of chocolate.

Greetings from Malaysia and welcome to our first-ever vanilla bean from the beautiful region around the South China Seas that boasts beautiful tropics, lush rain forests and rich soils that produce a sweet vanilla bean.
This V.planifolia bean is sure to please a blend of aromas and flavors including sweet undertones of raisins, dried fruit, chocolate and maybe a soft hint of dates.
We named this vanilla bean The Sibu after one of the beautiful cities and regions in Malaysia as pictured below.
